Abel is one of the first two children born of Adam and Eve in the book of Genesis. He was spoken as being more righteous than his brother Cain, who, because of Abel's sacrifice being found acceptable in God's sight instead of his own, slew his brother and thus was sentenced to being a wanderer in the earth. Abel was one of the Old Testament saints that was rewarded by Jesus after His Second Coming in the book "Glorious Appearing".
