Beryl "Bub" Gaylor was the former roommate of Eddie Byrne, the older brother of Vicki Byrne. Beryl was killed by a gas leak in his home shortly after the Rapture.
Biography
After the Rapture
Prior to the Rapture, Bub became roommates with Eddie when the latter moved to Michigan to attend college. At first, Eddie liked Bub because Bub was a party animal who engaged in loose living, but Eddie converted to Christianity. Eddie made Bub come with him to church at least two times, but it wasn't really something Bub cared about. According to Bub, Eddie was working a shift on the night of the Rapture. Bub and Eddie were supposed to meet at a diner at midnight. Bub waited at least twenty minutes for Eddie.
Personality
He is a party animal and lived loosely.
