Ginger (no last name known) is a character who appeared in the book The Remnant as an assistant at the "mark of loyalty" application facility at Carpathia Resurrection Field in Colorado where Steve Plank, a believer in Jesus Christ going under the alias of Pinkerton Stephens, went to be executed. Although she tried to talk Pinkerton into accepting the mark despite his prosthetic appliances to his face and hands, Pinkerton refused, and she instead allowed him to have his final words, proclaiming Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and Nicolae Carpathia as the Antichrist, be recorded for posterity before he was executed.

Stephen Plank was able to figure out her name by reading her badge. Ginger is stocky, looking sixtyish, and red-headed. She was expecting Pinkerton Stephens to receive the mark that day. She offered Plank "a nice -6 and a tasteful image of the Supreme Potentate".
