The High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV or Humvee) is a military 4WD motor vehicle created by AM General. This vehicle was used by Buck Williams to rescue Gustaf Zuckermandel, Jr. from the Global Community in The Mark and was also used by Nicolae Carpathia during his attempted assault on Petra in Glorious Appearing.

In Left Behind: The Kids, Dr. Patrick Rose drove a Humvee. (The books call it a "Humvee" not a "Hummer".) It took up two spaces in the hospital parking lot. When Patrick Rose committed suicide, Judd Thompson Jr. took his car as a means of transportation, given that he and Lionel Washington traveled, mostly on foot, from South Carolina to Indiana, in order to attempt to be reunited with the Young Tribulation Force in Wisconsin.
