Jacov was the name of Chaim Rosenzweig's driver who became a believer in Apollyon during Tsion Ben-Judah's visit to Jerusalem to meet with the 144,000 at Teddy Kollek Stadium.

During the Meeting of the Witnesses in Teddy Kollek stadium, Nicolae Carpathia along with his entourage of Supreme Commander Leon Fortunato and Pontifex Maximus Peter Mathews interrupted the meeting as they flew in on a helicopter piloted by Mac McCullum. As Nicolae was addressing the crowds as he received a cold reception, he became thirsty and called for a bottle of water. He received a bottle of water, but as he drank it, it turned to blood and he spat it out, afterward cursing the believers. Eli and Moishe enjoined the sealed followers of the Messiah to drink deeply and be refreshed from supernaturally chilled water. Cameron Williams who was with Jacov enjoyed the water and offered Jacov a drink. But as Jacov grabbed the bottle, it felt warm and turned to blood. Jacov dropped the bottle, and Cameron drank from it, as it turned back to water. Jacov exclaimed that he is no better than Carpathia and that he wanted to a child of God and a sealed one. After Tsion Ben-Judah quoted John 3:16, Jacov said that he believes and that he does not want to perish but have everlasting life. Tsion Ben-Judah then led those in the crowd who sought salvation in the sinner's prayer, and Jacov repeated the prayer in tears. He then got the mark of the believer and was able to drink the water.

Jacov was a former alcoholic who frequently drank and was fired and then re-hired by his employer out of pity. In the exuberance of his salvation, he went to a bar in Jerusalem to preach the gospel message and had to be taken out by Chaim and Cameron Williams, even though there was not a hint of alcohol on his breath. He was killed when he tried to reach Chaim but was struck on the chin with the butt of an Uzi by a Global Community Peacekeeper which snapped his neck, and his wife, Hannelore, would later be murdered in The Indwelling.
