"Not Coming Back" is a song written by Z-Van. It commemorates "the lord and savior" Nicolae Carpathia who positively changed the state of the world where poverty and wars are mitigated. The song is only mentioned in Volume Six of the Dramatic Audio of Left Behind: The Kids. The Four Horsemen's performance of the song was interrupted by the angel Christopher who warned the audience that New Babylon would soon fall, proclaimed the gospel, and discouraged the audience from taking the mark of loyalty. Judd Thompson Jr. heard some of the song while he was watching a broadcast of a concert in North Africa when he was at Dr. Marty Peck's house where Lionel Washington was recovering from an injury that cost him his left arm that Dr. Peck treated. In Ominous Choices, it was performed in a "remote country in Africa" where most of the people in the crowd did not have the mark of Carpathia on their foreheads due to technical difficulties with materials (and perhaps the Second Bowl Judgment stymieing the world's shipping so the supplies for the mark cannot arrive there). The people in the crowd were unable to understand Z-Van's lyrics.

The song was performed during the Second Bowl Judgment where the oceans turned to blood. The additional effects of the third and fourth Bowl Judgments would put the state of the world in such arrears where the Global Community could no longer maintain basic social services, and the GC would only expend effort to quell dissidents and hunt down those who have not received the mark of loyalty.

While introducing the song Z-Van said, "Most of you, like me, remember what is it was like...in this messed up world a few years ago. Wars, disharmony, people killing other people for a pair of sneakers. It's a world that doesn't exist anymore, thanks to the Potentate. So this song is my way of saying thanks to our lord and savior, Nicolae Carpathia. It's called 'Not Coming Back'!"

The lyrics of the song are unknown.
