Biography

After the Rapture

Charlie first appeared when Vicki was trying to infiltrate a furniture store that managed to survive the Wrath of the Lamb earthquake in order to find Ryan Daley. The furniture store was converted into a makeshift hospital in the aftermath of the earthquake and had Global Community guards that allowed only the injured and those with a clearance card to enter. Vicki pretended to be injured and had Darrion and Shelly carry her there. Vicki saw a clipboard that that Ryan's name on it that indicated he was in room "T-1".

As Vicki was in a narrow corridor, Charlie grabbed her arm and said that she was under arrest. After Vicki looked at Charlie and realized that he was not a cop, he said that he scared her by making her think that she was the police and he knew that Vicki was not supposed to be in the area. When Vicki noticed that he loved to scare people, Charlie giggled and said that he liked to make people jump and enjoyed scaring her sister that way. Charlie added that his sister can no longer jump because the earthquake had killed her. Charlie said that his sister had worked in the furniture store and oddly asked Vicki if she wanted to see the wrecked televisions showcased at the store.

Personality

In the Dramatic Audio Series, before the global cooling brought on by the Fourth Trumpet Judgment, Janie McCanyon expressed displeasure with working with "that moron Charlie".

Charlie can be insightful sometimes. In the Dramatic Audio, he said after a Bible study with the Young Tribulation Force in Avery, Wisconsin that he wondered if they would be able to learn the identity of the author of Hebrews after the Glorious Appearing. This alludes to the fact that the Epistle of Hebrews has no stated author, but authorship is traditionally ascribed to the Apostle Paul but critical scholars infer that it is a different author due to the stylistic differences between Hebrews and the works attributed to Paul.

In the Dramatic Audio. after the Glorious Appearing after the resurrection and return of the raptured believers to Earth, after Conrad Graham said that it was hard "not to be alright today" but that he wished his brother Taylor to be there with him, Charlie lamented that his sister would not be around to enjoy the Millennial Kingdom because she did not believe either. He then met Ryan Daley, saying that he took care of Phoenix after Ryan died from the Earthquake.
