Stan Barkoczyk is a Global Community task force member who appears in Busted!, the 7th installment within the Left Behind: The Kids-series of book.
He is known as "Stan Bargander" in the Dramatic Audio Series. Judd Thompson, Jr. made fun of his name when he struggled to remember his name by calling him "Mr. Barkeeper". He revealed Coach Handlesman's first name, Greg, when talking to Judd.
After Judd returned to a trip to Israel with Bruce Barnes, a customs offer took Judd's passport and lead him to a waiting room. Judd was waiting there for two hours and was banging on the door to get someone's attention. Judd wondered why he was in the room, since he did not bring anything back but his clothes. Eventually, Stan Barkoczyk, a tall, thin man, entered the room. Stan Barkoczyk extended his hand, and Judd shook it reluctantly. Stan Barkoczyk introduced himself as being a part of the Global Community task force. He said his name came up in an investigation that they were pursuing. Mr. Barkoczyk asked how well Judd knew Mr. Handlesman. Judd answered that he did not know Coach Handlesman well.
Judd had assumed that Coach Handlesman had been against the Young Tribulation Force since Coach Handlesman tried to stop the distribution of their unauthorized paper, The Underground, and appeared determined to find the perpetrators. While Judd's flight was inbound to Israel, Coach Handlesman had been fired and later sent to a reeducation camp for claiming responsibility for the production and distribution of The Underground while trying to protect Vicki Byrne. On the flight back, Judd learned from an email from John Preston that Coach Handlesman had been detained, which surprised Judd. Bruce Barnes then told Judd Coach Handlesman prayed to receive Christ in his office. Bruce said that he encouraged Coach Handlesman to take his new faith back to school. He also said that he was worried about the kids for so long. Bruce wanted to return and help Coach Handlesman.
Stan Barkoczyk asked if Coach Handlesman has helped Judd. Judd responds sarcastically wondering what Handlesman would have helped Judd with, such as more chin-ups in the gym or running the mile a little faster. He wonder if Judd was a "religious" type. Judd said that it depended on how one defined "religious". Mr. Barkoczyk said that he defines "religious" as undermining the Global Community, and that they "think they know more than everybody else and can’t wait to show how stupid they are".
Mr. Barkoczyk drove Judd to a police station where he saw Principal Jenness and Superintendent Pembroke waiting. Judd was lead to an evidence room that was cluttered with items. Judd's computer sat on a table in the middle. Judd thought that the Global Community had caught him, since if they looked at his files, they would find incontrovertible evidence of him composing and printing The Underground.
